One of the most inexpensive types of penile implant is a tube that is filled with silicone. This tube is surgically implanted into the penis. When the man is going to have sex, the tube is straightened out providing a firm erection. The man is able to perform just as he would with his penis sans the tube. When he is not engaged in love making the penis is bent close to the body. The tube is flexible enough that it can be bent. This type of penile implant is designed mainly for intercourse. It’s not made to added any length or thickness to the penis.

Another type of penile implant involves setting two tubes within the penis. These tubes are filled with hydraulic fluid.
