There are drugs on the market to help you with your cold symptoms, but no hard and fast solution. You pretty much have to give your body time to heal on its own. But there are some easy techniques that offer snoring solutions when confronted with a snoring problem while battling a cold.
For instance, you should blow your nose often, but doing it the right way is key. If you blow your nose too hard, you run the chance of blowing some germ infected phlegm into the passages of your ears. This can cause earaches. You can also try using a salt water solution to rinse out your nose. This technique helps you to breathe more easily by clearing out the nasal congestion and is also a good snoring solution. It will also rinse away some of the particles and bacteria from your nose, making the healing process much faster. With the combination of the above two examples, it should be possible to get a better sleep, that is at least partially snore free, and that’s what your body needs most when fighting a cold. The battle your immune system is waging taxes your body and saps your energy. You need to refuel with some much needed sleep and a snoring solution is the only way to do this. Gargling is another popular method used. Try gargling with salt water just before bed. This will moisten your throat and is also another great snoring solution. You can also try warm tea laced with honey, or my personal favourite Listerine. Listerine is great for killing bacteria, and is what I use whenever I feel a sore throat coming on and it helps prevent too much snoring. A steamy shower before bed will help as well. Steam moistens your nasal passages and helps to relax you a known snoring solution. I know this will sound gross, but whenever I use this technique I block one nostril and blow my nose in the shower. If any women are reading this, I’m sure they are cringing right now, but believe me it works! Anything that is mentholated, such as Vicks etc placed or dabbed under the nose will help you breathe easier at night, and cut out some of that annoying snoring. You could also try using a hot or cold pack on your congested sinuses as a snoring solution. Last but not least, eat cold fighting foods. Chilli peppers will loosen up those pesky sinuses and so will mustard and horse radish. I’m drooling already. Fruits and vegetables also hold a lot of vitamins and nutrients that will help your body fight off the cold, and let you sleep easier at night making these foods another great snoring solution. Most of these things are common sense rituals, but all of them can help you relieve congestion and solve some of your temporary snoring problems. If they don’t work, try them all at once. If they still don’t work, don’t blame me, and at least none of them will hurt you in any way. Now go and suffer in silence and keep looking for that all important snoring solution. |
