Testosterone Propionate
Testosterone propionate is similar to testosterone cypionate and testosterone enanthate. It is an oil-based injected steroid that slowly releases into the body and helps users build body mass and increase strength.
Veteran steroid users recommend that beginners start off with testosterone propionate if they’re going to try out various steroid cycles of different types of testosterone. Testosterone propionate can be irritating, so those who are using it more frequently may want to switch to another form of testosterone that doesn’t irritate the skin and cause soreness like testosterone propionate does. Because testosterone propionate is painful at times to inject, those who use it recommend that you rotate the injection site every time so that one spot on your body won’t have to endure the injection each time.
Testosterone Propionate ProblemsWhen testosterone propionate is injected in the same spot time after time, your skin may be permanently damaged. Fat tissue can build up beneath the skin and the injection of testosterone propionate can result in the need for cosmetic surgery in time. One of the better benefits of testosterone propionate is that after you discontinue use, if side effects are plaguing you, you will normally be rid of them within 2-4 days, as opposed to weeks using other variations of testosterone. This is good because testosterone propionate does have a high risk of side effects. The higher the dose of testosterone propionate, the more difficulties you may have. Some users have mentioned difficulty walking due to the painfulness of the injection site. You might wish to stick to cypionate instead of testosterone propionate since the cypionate has eight carbon atoms and the propionate only has three. The higher the carbon atoms in the ester, the more soluble it is in oil – and in this case, testosterone propionate will not last as long as cypionate because it will release much faster into your system. Because testosterone propionate has a shorter half-life, meaning it is used up more quickly than other variations of the drug, you’ll have to inject it more often to get adequate results. Most veterans will advise that you have to maintain a minimum of twice-weekly injections of testosterone propionate to add bulk. If you live in America, you may have a hard time finding testosterone propionate. It’s more common on the European market. Therefore, if you live in the United States, you may be shelling out two to three times the amount for testosterone propionate that you’d have to pay for enanthate or cypionate.
