When men have a low testosterone level in their body, they generally experience several different symptoms that can adversely affect their quality of life. These symptoms include:
Hair loss and premature balding (keeping in mind that this can be hereditary and not related to a deficiency).
Problems with the reproductive and sexual organs.
Weakening bone mass.
Mood swings, anxiety, and depression.
Fat deposits that are difficult to get rid of through exercise.
When the above symptoms occur, a doctor will prescribe testosterone hormone therapy to increase testosterone levels in the body and to alleviate some of the deficiency symptoms.
